Valve seal \ Oil scraper cap

Valve seals primarily prevent excess oil from entering the engine combustion chamber. Just like most vehicle parts, they are made from special rubber with an internal steel frame. Over time, the cuffs wear out and work less efficiently, collapsing and passing excess oil into the combustion chamber. And this, in turn, leads to an increase in oil consumption for waste. Also, if a significant amount of oil enters and burns in the engine, the likelihood of coking of the piston ring grooves, piston drain holes, valve working edges increases significantly, which in turn contributes to a significant decrease in fuel — economic and environmental performance of engines in operation.

The photo shows valve seals designed for use in four-cylinder and six-cylinder diesel engines manufactured by the Minsk Motor Plant. Seals have high rates of operational reliability.

Water pump mechanical seal

Very important, and also the smallest detail, is the water pump mechanical seal, which provides a «dynamic seal» of the pump chamber, typical of rotating equipment such as pumps.

Sealing is achieved by sliding the sealing surfaces of the two rings (sliding ring and movable ring) under spring pressure. These rings can be made from high quality and wear resistant materials such as silicon, carbon graphite composition or ceramics. The seal housing and spring are usually made of stainless steel.
