Alternators AVi144P series

This series of alternators is designed for approved use in local, intercity buses, heavy commercial vehicles (over 3.5 tons), construction, industrial, agricultural and marine engines.

The alternator stator has an outer diameter of 142 mm. The weight of the alternators depending on the modification is about 7.5 — 8.3 kg.

The alternator is designed to work in conjunction with a battery directly connected to its main terminals; use without a battery is not permitted unless authorized by Prestolite Electric and agreed during the installation.

The models of alternators presented below are purposefully designed for use as part of MTZ, AMKODOR, MAZ, Slobozhanets vehicles, as well as part of other vehicles with four-cylinder, six-cylinder diesel engines manufactured by the Minsk Motor Plant.

Alternators of this series have successfully passed a full range of bench and life tests, showed high operational efficiency and reliability.

The alternators are certified for compliance with the requirements of TR CU 018/2011 «On the safety of wheeled vehicles».
