AAK Alternators

AAK alternators from Mahle Electric Drives are a series of compact generators with a wide range of applications on engines, vehicles and equipment to provide power to appliances and systems — consumers of electricity, and timely charging of batteries.

The stator diameter for the AAK series models is between 120 and 129 mm.

The alternators of AAK series are three-phase 12-pole synchronous generators with automatic excitation, have an integrated rectifier, voltage regulator and external cooling fan. A bridge circuit with rectifier and excitation diodes provides a constant voltage output current, confident regulation of the output voltage and alternator excitation. Zener power diodes can be used to protect the load from alternator overvoltage. They are manufactured using thin-film hybrid or microelectronic technology. Depending on the requirements and area of the application, they can be monofunctional or multifunctional. Metal-graphite brushes and highest quality copper contact rings guarantee a long service life of the alternator.

Available in 14V (current 45-80A) and 28V (current 35-50A).

Depending on the specific application different versions of the alternators can be supplied: Isolated, shipboard and other versions according to special requirements.

Alternator AAK 4569 (14V, 65A) is used in tractors produced by Minsk Tractor Works: Belarus-320, 422, 622 with Lombardini LDW 1603, LDW 2204 engines.

Alternator AAK 3134 (14V, 70A) is used to complete the motor cars OPEL / VAUXHALL with diesel engines, as well as cars VAZ with engines Opel C20XE.
